This module seeks to explore the many factors which influence the actions, behaviour and decisions taken by people in the work-place. Furthermore, it explores the impact of the external environment, particularly the expectations and behaviour of wider society, with its roles as a potential customer and citizen. The term fashion is used interchangeably with clothing, mode, dress, style and costume and yet it captures the spirit of the times, through seasonal collections in the major cities of London, Paris, Milan and New York.

The range of perspectives in project management studies are analysed both in theory and in practice. The application of theories is enhanced through the use of case study examples in the public, private and third sectors, encompassing an analysis of project management in a range of organisational structures. Emphasis on knowledge in this area is extended further to the criticality of the project manager’s skills in managing the range of both internal and external stakeholders. As such, this module will draw and build on student’s knowledge previously acquired through responsible leadership, entrepreneurial, finance and people management modules.
